WATER BAPTISM; The Public Declaration of Our Faith

Water baptism is the public declaration of our faith, that we have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. Getting dipped into the water signifies that we have died to our sins and self-management and rose with Christ into a new dedicated life.

As we rose from the water with the help of the minister of God who feeds us with the knowledge of the truth consistently. Like the apostle Paul, we are now crucified with Christ, although we live yet not us but Christ who now lives in us. We have handed over the wheel and engine of our life to a new Driver, the Lord Jesus.

A new covenant is established, and the course of our life is now under the control of a never-failing God who never sleeps nor slumbers. He promised those who believe and trust in Him, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5.

In the book of Isaiah 41:10, God also promised: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord”.

There are great inexhaustible blessings in knowing and sticking with the Lord God!
