Happy Father’s Day

My husband struggled with tears this morning as our daughter walked into our room and laid her hand on his head saying today is Father’s day and I would like to pray for you…

As she emptied her heart in prayers, this statement stood out clear and I paraphrased..

‘There were times when l felt lost and came to you, but there were also times when you came to me first. You have been a role model in my life and have helped me understand and appreciate the fatherhood of God.’

To all the fathers out there, you are deeply appreciated beyond what you can imagine. Not everyone will be able to express their love for you but we would like you to know that you are loved, you are blessed, you are great, you are awesome,… Thank you for all your love, tears, brokenness, sacrifices, and commitment. You will live to enjoy the works of your hands and it shall be well with you all.
