It’s Not the Storm, It’s Us

While a few inches of snow can bring parts of the United States, Germany, etc., to a standstill for days, many cities in Canada carry on with daily life despite very deep snow and freezing temperatures, extreme cold of -40 degrees Celsius or lower. People dig out, adapt, and keep moving forward. This doesn’t make one better than the other, but just unusual challenges versus usual ones.
This quietly teaches us that the environments we have lived in and the challenges we have repeatedly faced shape our resilience. What once demanded endurance has trained us, making us stronger and better prepared to withstand the same storms that might overwhelm or halt others.
Let us take encouragement in knowing that our continued perseverance demonstrates the strength that life has instilled within us. The challenges we have faced were intended not to defeat us, but to foster our development. What may now seem routine to us could represent the resilience that others are still striving to attain. We should trust in the growth we have experienced, remain steadfast, and proceed with quiet confidence, for with God supporting us, our success is assured.
